What Is Calcined Petroleum Coke?

Calcined petroleum coke (CPC) is a highly purified, carbon-rich material made by heating green petroleum coke (GPC) at very high temperatures (around 1200-1400°C) to remove volatile matter, moisture, and impurities. This calcination process transforms the material, increasing its electrical conductivity and making it suitable for critical industrial uses, primarily as anodes for aluminum and steel production, as a carbon raiser, and in the production of synthetic graphite

What is Calcined anthracite Coal?

Calcined anthracite Coal anthracite coal that has been heat-treated at high temperatures (over 1,200°C) in a controlled atmosphere to remove volatile matter, moisture, and impurities. This process results in a material with higher carbon content, lower ash and sulfur, and greater hardness than raw anthracite. Calcined anthracite is primarily used as a recarburizer in the steel industry, an additive for iron foundries, and in the production of carbon blocks and electrodes for various industrial applications.
